What the schedule covers
Scheduled interior maintenance
The same scope on every rotation — vacuum, the touch points and the air path cleaned out, extraction on the rotation you choose. Vehicles stay at a standard rather than being rescued once a year.
Passenger-facing detail for rideshare
The surfaces a passenger touches and smells: seats, belts, door cards, handles, vents. A rating problem is usually an interior problem.
Incident call-outs
Vomit, spills and other one-off events are handled outside the rotation and priced per event, so a bad Saturday night does not blow the schedule.
Work vehicles and utes
Ground-in dirt, dust and site grime in vans, utes and service vehicles, where the point is hygiene and driver conditions rather than presentation.
The method
Stages used on a rotation
Routine rotations use the first two stages, with extraction on the interval that suits the fleet. Incidents escalate as far as they need to and are quoted per event.
- 1
Find and remove the source
Under seats and seat rails, under carpet, the boot well, the cabin filter, the HVAC evaporator.
- 2
Carpet shampoo
Shampoo worked through the carpet, the mats and the fabric seats, so what is bound into the pile lets go before it is pulled back out.
- 3
Hot-water extraction
Hot water driven through the pile and vacuumed straight back out, so the dirt leaves the vehicle in the water rather than drying back into it.
Rates
Per unit, by vehicle class, negotiated on fleet size and rotation frequency. Send the vehicle mix and the interval you want and you will get a rate card.
Incident work is quoted per event against the same stage structure, not absorbed into the rotation rate.
TODO: scope question for the owner
Questions we get asked
Can you handle a vomit call-out at short notice?
That work is priced per event and fitted around the schedule. What we can promise on timing depends on the week, so ask when you call rather than assuming.
Do you work at our depot?
Yes, that is the normal arrangement for a rotation. Vehicles needing ozone or carpet out come to the workshop.
Do electric vehicles need anything different?
No. The working method is the same, and the usual care around screens and electronics applies to every vehicle.
Can we change the rotation later?
Yes. Most fleets adjust the interval once they see how the vehicles actually hold up between visits.
