Interior clean and deep clean
The whole interior cleaned properly rather than wiped over — into the vents, the seams and the trim gaps by hand, shampoo and hot-water extraction through the carpet and the seats. This is most of what we do, and it is what most vehicles actually need.
This is the job if
- Kids, dogs or work have got the better of the interior.
- You are selling privately and want it to photograph well.
- A lease is ending and you would rather not be charged for the condition.
- You have just bought secondhand and want it hygienic before the family gets in.
- It is simply due — an annual clean that gets into what a vacuum cannot.
What is included
A defined scope, so you know what you are buying. Vehicle size sets the price; condition sets whether anything needs escalating.
Strip and vacuum
Mats out, seats moved through their travel, vacuum through the carpet, the seat rails, the boot and the trim gaps.
Hard surfaces, seams and vents
Dashboard, console, door cards, vents, switchgear, cup holders, door shuts and the boot lip. Worked into the seams and the louvres rather than wiped over, which only moves the film around.
Shampoo and hot-water extraction
Carpet, mats, fabric seats and the boot lining shampooed and extracted, so the dirt leaves in the recovered water.
Glass and finishing
Interior glass, mirrors and screens cleaned without smearing, and the interior left dressed rather than shiny and slippery.
The method
The stages a presentation clean uses
A straightforward interior clean lives in the first three stages. If we find something that needs the air path treated or the carpet lifted, that is quoted separately rather than absorbed into the job.
- 1
Find and remove the source
Under seats and seat rails, under carpet, the boot well, the cabin filter, the HVAC evaporator.
- 2
Carpet shampoo
Shampoo worked through the carpet, the mats and the fabric seats, so what is bound into the pile lets go before it is pulled back out.
- 3
Hot-water extraction
Hot water driven through the pile and vacuumed straight back out, so the dirt leaves the vehicle in the water rather than drying back into it.
What it costs
Priced by vehicle size, with prices published on the pricing page. A ute with a fabric bench and a family seven-seater are different amounts of work.
Condition can move the price. If the interior turns out to need odour work, we will tell you what that stage costs before we start it rather than after.

Questions we get asked
Do you come to me, or does the car come to you?
Most presentation cleans can be done at your place. Anything that needs long drying, ozone or the carpet lifted comes back to the workshop, because those stages need controlled conditions.
Is this safe on leather, screens and electronics?
Handled correctly, yes — and handled carelessly, no. Screens, airbag tags, some coated leathers and some trims do not want moisture or solution on them at all, so they get cleaned another way. That judgement is part of the job.
Can you clean child seats?
The hard shell and the cover, yes. We do not put cleaning products through harness webbing — manufacturers are clear that it can weaken it, and it is not worth the risk.
How long does it take?
Long enough to do it properly, and it depends on the size and the condition of the vehicle.
